PGCB Spring Blog Hop - Celebrations

Welcome to my leg of the Spring Celebration blog hop with the Paper Girl's Challenge blog. You should have come from Michele's blog All About the Paper. We have a fabulous prize from Unity Stamps worth $86!  To qualify for an entry to win this prize you need to comment on each stop on the blog hop, follow our blog and "like" our facebook page.

Unity Stamps is our sponsor for this blog hop!
Hop on over to their facebook page and thank them for their generosity if you don't mind! They have this wonderful prize pack of stamps for one lucky winner!

And here is a peek of the prize:

As you can see, the Paper Girls like to party. Over at my house the most important part of our birthdays is the cake. My kids always choose interesting subjects for their cakes and I do my best to try and pull it off. In the last two weeks I've had two birthday parties in my home. At the first party my son chose Spyro from Skylanders for his cake. His face is made with different colors of fondant and the horns are ice cream cones covered with yellow candy melts.

At the second party my daughter wanted her cake to be a companion cube from the game Portal for her birthday party. The outside is also fondant and I piped the pink accents.  I decided to do something fun and bake heart shapes into the cake when you slice it. My daughter is really girly so she loved it.
A view of the inside of the Portal cake.

Thanks for stopping by! Here is a list of the blog hop locations in case you missed one. Your next top is Karrie's blog.
