SSI February Color Challenge

Here are the colors we are working with.

I just love the color combo for this month's color challenge at SSInk. I couldn't wait to play with some of my new stamp sets Love You to the Moon from the Occasions Mini catalog and also the free stamp set Banner Blast from the Sale-a-bration catalog.

I wanted to give the effect of washi tape behind the sentiment. I'm not sure if this is a totally original idea, but I stamped the diagonal stripe banner pieces directly behind the circle to get that look. I also added the small hearts going up in a slightly diagonal line to look a bit like confetti with some pearls scattered as well. For a little more dimension, I stamped one of the designs from Banner Blast onto some Pink Pirouette paper and punched two small hearts out, folded them and adhered the centers with a glue dot.

I love how this card came together and also the fun colors. There are so many beautiful cards from the girls at Stylin' Stampin' Inkspiration, make sure you check them out.
