The Paper Girls Challenge Blog Hop! Fall Decor

Welcome to my leg of the Paper Girls Challenge blog hop. We all decided to make some Fall Decor to inspire everybody. You should have come from Amber's blog. Make sure you go comment on every stop on the blog hop in order to qualify for the chance to win the $26 gift card to ScrapbookPal.com

I knew exactly what I wanted to make for this blog hop.

I went with a  book page wreath for my project. I had it pinned on Pinterest for over a year. If you Google image search you will be able to find many variations on this type of wreath. First of all if you use a book that is already old there will already be a nice patina on the pages and I think that adds a lot to the look. It took a long time to make this wreath; a full copy of Pride and Prejudice and a lot of hot glue. I'm really happy with the result though. A little note to consider if you decide to take on a project like this - This is definitely an inside wreath. The old book pages will not hold up well to the elements.

Thanks for stopping by and make sure you head on over to Charity's blog for the next step on the blog hop.

You have until Sunday, October 6, 2013 at 11:59 pm MST to comment. We will announce the winner on Wednesday October 9, 2013 at 9:00 am MST.  As usual, we are only shipping prize packs to the US and Canada due to shipping costs.

Really nice! I've pinned some of those wreaths too. But, you ripped up "Pride and Prejudice"? ! LOL

I did a lot of decor projects a year or so ago from Pinterest. I need to get busy and do some more.

Very pretty. I may have to use a different book though. LOL

LOVE this wreath! Not sure I could do that to a copy of Pride and Prejudice (Mr Darcy, no!!) but there's a beaten up copy of 101 Dalmations sitting on my desk right now that I've been looking for a project for ... :)

I know it was hat to rip into but I love seeing all those wonderful words I know by heart. Especially Elizabeth and Darcy. :)
