Growing In Unity ~ Day 2

I'm so excited to have the opportunity to share something I made using Unity Stamps every day this week. I will be drawing a name next Monday (3/31)  from the comments to receive TWO free Itty Bitty stamp of your choice. To increase your chances of being drawn make sure you comment every day. That's it!

For my second day for Growing in Unity I decided to use "Let's Play Aliens". It's from one of my more recent purchases and I really have been dying to color these images, they're just so cute! I thought it would be fun to make a background using the ray guns in the set, so I stamped them with Stazon ink on some cardstock vellum that I scored diagonally first.

I used some homemade epoxy dots to embellish this card. If you want more info on how to do this I have a detailed blog post at Scrapbook Steals up today at 9 am MST.

I colored in the stamped images with a mix of Copic markers and Spectrum Noir markers.

Don't forget to leave a comment today for maximum chance to win some stamps and we'll see you again tomorrow with more of my creations using Unity Stamps.

Supplies:
Stamps: Let's Play Aliens (Unity)
Cardstock: Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Eggplant Envy, Gumball Green, Cardstock Vellum (Stampin' Up) White Cardstock (Paper Trey Ink)
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Stazon Black, Copic markers, Spectrum Noir markers
Accessories: Starburst Framelits, Small Star punch (SU retired), homemade epoxy dots

That looks like a fun image to color. But I gotta admit that those two images kinda scare me a little. :)

How cute is this !! Your coloring is so pretty. Really like how you scored that vellum and made your own real cute background. Very creative. Have seen that little stamp and thought it was real cute but your card just really brings it to life.

Whooa, I love the ray gun background but MAKE YOUR OWN DOTS WITH BEADS?! That's pretty rad. I often see giant bags of perler beads for dirt cheap. I might need to try this!
