Growing in Unity ~ Day 4

I'm so excited to have the opportunity to share something I made using Unity Stamps every day this week. I will be drawing a name next Monday (3/31)  from the comments to receive TWO free Itty Bitty stamp of your choice. To increase your chances of being drawn make sure you comment every day. That's it!

Sometimes you just need to make a card without a lot of time. I thought I'd show you this card I was able to make while my newly 4 year old kept trying to leave the house without my permission. (ha ha!)  I just love this stamp set called One of a Kind by Melody Ross. It's really versatile and there is not one stamp in this set that has gone unused.

I started my inking directly onto the scallop banner stamp with various bright colors, I used my Stampin' Up Stampin' Write markers which are made for this purpose. After stamping the banner I stamped the sentiment/ glasses image with Stazon Jet Black ink right above. It still needed a little something so I took the Crumb Cake marker which is really neutral and drew a few lines criss-crossing each other using a small ruler as a guide. Voila! Ready to mail out.

Make sure you come back tomorrow for my final project featuring Unity Stamps.

Supplies:
Stamp Set: One of a Kind (Unity Stamps)
Cardstock: Whisper White (Stampin Up)
Ink: Many Marvelous Marker set (colors used: Eggplant Envy, Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie, Gumball Green, Rose Red, Island Indigo, Crushed Curry, Crumb Cake), Stazon Jet Black

Great CAS card! Love the way you inked up the banner! Which is harder, keeping a 4 yr. old from leaving the house without permission or a 16 yr. old leaving the house without permission?!!

I am not familiar with this stamp set. I may have to go look it up now! And I love hearing all about E's adventures! My little one has even more spunk now that he is four.

Oh my gosh I remember those trying to escape days. (Slide bolt way up high on door was answer for us). (-: Anyway your card really is a cutie for an easy to do. Very nice set when you can use most or all of the stamps too. Pretty banner!

Uh oh. My youngest will be four next month...is that what I have to look forward to? I don't even TRY to make cards until they are all in bed at this point! Ha! I love this card! It always takes me forever to make a card. Gotta try to simplify and be quick once in a while!

This is one of my favorite stamps, yet I've never used it. Thanks for reminding me to stamp with my nerdy glasses!
