Scrapbook Steals Pearl 5 sketch and Authentique Color Challenge

When I saw that the color challenge over at Authentique for July/ August I thought it was the perfect excuse to buy some of the lovely paper from the Lively collection. Yeah. I love it. The color palate is a perfect combination of the bright hues I like to use. I also like the combination of botanical and graphic elements they have in the collection. I accented my page with a couple of different washi tapes, some pom pom trim (SU) and Stickles in paprika.  This sketch is by Kristy Lee at Scrapbook Steals. I love, love, love it! This page came together so quickly. I just wish I could find the charger to my "real" camera so that I could have shared a better photo of the page with you.

While I'm at it I think I will post the second lovely sketch that Kristy did for Pearl 5. I used the MME Indie Chic Ginger line. I LOVE this line. I have a hard time finding masculine prints that I like and this one fits the bill. There are some florals in this line but a lot of the b sides and accent papers in this set are plenty masculine. I used two of the washi tapes from the same line, some Amy Tangerine thickers and my postage stamp punch (SU) to cut the windows the robots (Sassafras Lass) are peeking out of. As a side note, the funny part about this picture is I found it randomly in the pictures file on my phone. I think Ian was trying to check to see what color his tongue was from possibly an Icee or some candy. LOL.
