Glitz and Glimmer

While working on a swap with some other SU demos I was browsing for ideas on SplitCoastStampers and I found this lovely card by jsassy72. I loved everything about this card and happened to have everything to make it. I of course, changed up some of the elements, such as,  I embossed the oval white embossing powder on black cardstock instead of keeping it stamped on white cardstock. I feel this really emphasized the sentiment and helped it stand out against the stamped label. The addition of the Silver Glimmer paper gives the glitzy look of glitter without the mess and it really steps up the look of a handmade card.

I just have to say, I love my Magnetic Platform for the Big Shot. It really helps keep those stamped images stay aligned with the die while cutting the labels out.

Check out the cards of the other SSInk Design Team for more ideas of ways to use glitter on your projects.
