Kiwi Lane Designs Blog Hop

Welcome to my leg of the blog hop. You should be coming from Christina 's blog. If you are new to blog hopping and aren’t quite sure how this works, it’s super easy!  For a chance to win a $25.00 Gift Code to the Kiwi Lane Shop simply  leave a comment on each blog post you come to starting with this blog post.

I was inspired by the Playtime Accessory templates by Kiwi Lane to make this fun mobile for my friend's new baby. I imagined the rocket and a bunch of stars and knew it would be perfect! The rocket template is super easy to trace and cut out. I love how easy it is to use the Kiwi Lane templates and how light, portable and easy to store they are

I used a cardboard ring used in some kind of packaging I squirreled away a long time ago for the structure of the mobile. I used bamboo skewers for support and also a place to hang the moon from. The rest was as easy as gluing my stars from twine and setting eyelets for the rockets to be hung from.
Here's a shot of the glittery moon I hung in the center.

Now hop on over to Kiwi Lane's blog and make sure you leave comments along the way!

I love how you said you "squirreled away" the ring. You just never know when you'll need something, huh?! This is a great way to use that and create a stunning one-of-a-kind gift for your friend. Thanks for sharing such a great project!
